In the work Ages and Ages, Consalvo integrates the distinct facets of her multidisciplinary practice for the first time, with each component bearing traces of the artist's presence that signal the conditions of their creation.
In Ages and Ages, 2018, a painted line runs uninterrupted across supports and over frames to encircle Heide's Project Gallery. The gestural line is a conspicuous later addition, painted in situ, the product of a private performance in which the artist positioned herself alone in the space and 'psychologically within a particular memory. The residual marks are a visual record of a moment of deep contemplation, documenting the artist's body in a state of psychological transition.
